Our History

Sea Air Federal Credit Union was founded in 1952 to provide affordable financial services. Today we serve more than 6,200 members including: active military, retired military, reserves and civilians working or living on the base (in Seal Beach Weapons Station, Los Alamitos Joint Training Base, and Norco Naval Facility), residents of Sunset Beach, City of Seal Beach employees, and members of USA Water Polo.

As a not-for-profit cooperative, income earned by the Credit Union is returned to the members. That means we provide you with an outstanding selection of loan options with the lowest rate possible. Whether you are trying to finance the car of your dreams or buy the first car for your teenager, plan a vacation or plan for college tuition, our lending officers can help you determine what loan choice is better for you.

No matter where you live, work or travel, you will always have access to your account with our convenient services.

Award Winning Team

2019's Department of the Navy Distinguished Small Credit Union Service Award
We're happy to announce that our team has been awarded the 2019 Department of the Navy's Distinguished Small Credit Union Service Award for proactively meeting the financial needs of our service members and employees. Additionally, we were recognized for our development of a Government Furlough Program that assisted members during government shutdowns and worked to improve the morale and employees through community outreach.
